Short Day in Melbourne

After the flight

With God's blessing, all of us arrived safe and sound in Melbourne. I think Ian was also quite tired out as he didn't sleep very well during the flight but the cold weather and strange environment keeps him entertained. Hubby and Jason managed to get us a Maxi-cab to send us to the apartment we rented online.
When I saw Citadines, I was so glad I made the decision to rent this apartment. The location is centralized, the place is almost new! Only 1 month old. It's a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 wash rooms, one living room and a small dining table with a well equipped kitchen!
Hubby also took a pic of the scenery outside the apartment.
I simply love this apartment! Chic and sophiscated and CLEAN!

Flight to Melbourne - 27th Aug 2010

It was Ian's very first maiden flight! Before the day itself, we have been telling him that we'll be flying on an aeroplane. Initially he was rather excited but after a while, he seemed to lose interest in it. However, on the day itself, when he saw the aeroplane, he kept pointing to it and say, "Mummy, aeroplane!"

To be honest, bringing him along is the challenge for me. First of all, I really do not know how he's going to spend 7 hours on plane and whether he'll be a disturbance to other passengers. After the excitement of being on an aeroplane died down, we quickly changed him into his pyjamas to prepare him for sleep but they were serving supper which also excites him, having his own course of meal too! In the end, it took us quite a while to coax him to nap and it was a fitful sleep. I think I almost sprained my back in order to adjust to him lying on my lap. =(
